The name Chocolate Cafe instantly put us in a good mood. It's close to the riverside in Henley and some outside seating what you can watch the swans and ducks. It's a lovely place for tea, a snack, a cake or some ice cream. Lovely staff who let us watch a black forest gateaux being made and a chance to taste the icing. My favourite is their lemon meringue pie.
Today is my first time visit Henley on Thames, I thought I would pop in for white coffee and cake. Omg, it is an amazing cake and excellent white coffee is what I would love to have. Well done to the lady and her staffs for wonderful service. I would definitely come back when I got time to visit the town again soon.
Very nice experience dining solo on recommendation from a friend. Good ingredients cooked well paying attention to details. Crispy hash brown, properly rendered bacon, caramelised tasty sausage, quality beans, crisped edges of eggs, browned mushrooms, seeded toast and plenty of butter. Pot of tea was nice and strong, table was cleared in a timely manner. Top stuff.
What a lovely cafe Viv’s is We were lucky with beautiful weather so were able to sit by the river We were welcomed by Fin who was so helpful with our mum who was in a wheelchair The food was delicious and Dawn’s homemade hash browns we so much more than hash browns - absolutely amazing Finlay was the most polite, helpful and friendly server. A credit to Viv’s Thanks for a wonderful visit
What a great cafe this is, good food , amazing service and superb location. Photos io the view below, it just does not get any better. England at its finest. Do visit, a varied and interesting menu, breakfasts above and beyond the usual.
Great place! Lovely hot chocolate, coffee and cakes. Can't comment on the savoury menu, as I went for pecan pie and a Mocha hot chocolate - the ideal choice for the indecisive, espresso added to hot chocolate. Marvellous!
We came here from London to have a quick stop with our bike and it was so good! I had a banana split and the ice cream and the chocolate was so tasty! I loved it! My partner had a raspberry ice tea and it tasted really nice as well! I really liked this place
